The Bathurst Cycling Classic is scheduled for 12 – 14 March 2021. We understand how important this event is to our cyclists and the Bathurst community. We have worked hard to bring a weekend of cycling which will operate within the current NSW Health guidelines.
With the recent developments in New South Wales relating to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been monitoring the situation closely; following advice from the NSW Government and NSW Health.
We want to reassure you that the Bathurst Cycling Classic is currently moving forward with no changes to events. This is based on the following information from NSW Government:
Bathurst is considered part of regional and rural NSW.
Community sporting activities are allowed with a maximum number of 3,000 participants or one person per 2 square metres (whichever is less).
The organiser must have a COVID-19 Safety Plan
Record keeping for attendees must take place for all community sporting activities of more than 100 people where this is practical.
The information above is based on the current information available, however things can change rapidly. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you via the Bathurst Cycling Classic website.
